JOSEPH SEE
FULL ACEER CONSERVATION FELLOW

Joseph See was born in Fresno, California, a city surrounded by farmlands in the San Joaquin Valley, but with places like Yosemite National Park at it’s doorstep. His intense interest in the natural world from an early age led him to pursue a degree in marine biology at CSU Long Beach. Shortly after graduation Joseph taught environmental education programs for the YMCA and Naturebridge reaching students of all ages. His desire to blend conservation, research, and education as well as a lifelong fascination with the rainforest led him to seek opportunities in Neotropics, where he now works with Alliance for a Sustainable Amazon. Joseph is passionate about understanding and sharing the story of the Peruvian Amazon and hopes he can provide opportunities for more people to become involved in conservation of Amazonia.
