I was born in Lima, Peru's capital, so grew up in a big city. Since I was a child, I used to find myself interested in animals and nature. That was my main reason to choose to study biology, and I'm continuing with that passion even after getting my bachelor's degree. Almost all my field experience has been in Madre de Dios, located in the southeast Amazon of Peru, and it's my favorite place in the world, I worked studying monkeys, butterflies, and frogs. Now I'm the program biologist of the Sea Turtle Conservation Program of Osa Conservation, NGO, in Costa Rica. My main interests now are conservation, environmental education, and environmental justice.
