Biography:

Emerson is a high school student with an interest in wildlife and ecosystem conservation. She is involved in climate change activism, and previously worked as a year-long fellow for the organization OurClimate to advocate for science-based climate policy. In college, she hopes to pursue ecology and politics in an effort to introduce evidence for necessary new legislation. She believes that the strongest way to make change is to provide the research and evidence for why that new change is necessary - and she aspires to be able to conduct that important research.
