Biography:

Pía is a Peruvian sustainable business manager and has been working in the Amazon rainforest since 2017. She is co-founder of Proyecto Iquitos; an auto sustainable and free school in the Amazonas riverside. Before, she has been manager at Frutama on the project “Partnerships for Forest” with the UK. embassy, manager of bamboo building workshops with Salvaje, worker on water potabilization programs with remote communities, manager of social programs with Conciencia: raw healing chocolate, marketing manager at Universidad Científica del Sur and producer at some festivals and events at Lima. More than anything, she feels like a neighbor and a friend of the Maijuna and other communities that she has been working with.
