Biography:

Caroline Hermance is an interdisciplinary communicator and strategist who bridges the gap between scientific literacy and organizational impact. Caroline's B.S. in Interdisciplinary Biology/Psychology and in-progress MBA in Strategic Leadership at University of Delaware help her tackle complexities and position organizations for success. By translating technical nuance into resonant storytelling, Caroline has demonstrated experience engineering target audience growth, building meaningful engagement, and streamlining creative workflows. Caroline is always excited to learn something new and bring a sustainable vision to life - especially in authentic, science-driven, and human-centered spaces.

Caroline’s approach to communication here at ACEER is deeply informed by her time in the field, specifically during the 2022 "Bringing the Amazon Home" expedition. During her time in Sucusari, she collaborated with educators and conservationists to capture the rainforest’s narrative through an ethical and equitable lens, ensuring its ecological and cultural significance was relayed authentically to global communities. She also wrote and recorded the song "Chibayi" in 2022, sharing her experience deep within the Amazon river basin.
