Biography:

Trained as an aquatic scientist and environmental educator, Tara has her M.S. in Conservation Ecology & Sustainable Development from the University of Georgia’s Odum School of Ecology. She is also a Master Teacher with the International Tao Academy, teaching about the soul, energy, and communication and communion with the earth. Her interests are widespread and include science communication and empowering the public to participate in scientific data collection for decision making, landscape design, marine turtle and coral conservation, streamside forests and empowering people to make more positive choices for the planet and themselves.
