Biography:

Ryan Cafritz is a soon-to-be graduate of Georgetown University's MS in Environment and Sustainability Management program, set to complete his degree in July 2024. Currently interning with the Smart Surfaces Coalition, a D.C.-based nonprofit, Ryan collaborates with city governments across the U.S. to implement innovative urban surface solutions aimed at mitigating climate change and enhancing urban livability. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Ryan is passionate about making his hometown and other cities more sustainable. He is an avid runner and cyclist, and also has a deep love for urban agriculture.
